What is TPU film made of?

The next step is melt extrusion, which is a process of heating and melting the raw materials and then forcing them through a die to form a continuous film. The melt extrusion process is carried out using a TPU film extruder, which is a specialized machine designed for this purpose. The extruder consists of a hopper, a barrel, a screw, and a die. The raw materials are fed into the hopper, and then they are melted and mixed in the barrel by the screw. The molten mixture is then forced through the die, which shapes it into a thin film.
Once the TPU film is extruded, it is cooled and wound onto a roll. The film is then subjected to further processing such as slitting, laminating, and printing to make it suitable for specific applications. TPU film can be produced in various thicknesses, widths, and colors to meet the specific needs of the end-users.
