What to pay attention to when producing TPU film
1. Before processing the film, pay attention to keeping the granular raw materials dry. TPU film is a kind of polar polymer. When exposed to air, it will slowly absorb water molecules in the air. In the subsequent processing process, the surface of the finished product is prone to be uneven, and there are bubbles inside, resulting in a significant decrease in film performance. If you want to better maintain the film performance, you should pay attention to keeping the dryness of the film raw material before putting the raw material into the processing process.
2. Control the temperature of the processing technology. The molecular weight of polyester TPU is significantly higher than that of polyether TPU, and it takes a long time to process it into a film. At the same time, the molecular weight of polyester TPU is significantly wider than the molecular weight distribution of polyether TPU, and the temperature requirements during the entire processing process will be higher. If the temperature is too low, it is easy to cause the nitrogen-oxygen bond inside the molecular structure to be not easily broken, which affects the quality of the entire processing process. Therefore, it is necessary to effectively break the molecular bonds with the help of a relatively large pressure at a higher temperature.
During the processing of TPU film, there are strict requirements for both the processing temperature and the dryness of the processing environment. If the conditions of the entire production and processing workshop are not well controlled, it is easy to affect the performance of the film and reduce its quality. It can be seen that for some enterprises that have high requirements on the quality of such films, it is better to choose finished products produced by larger regular manufacturers, so that the quality of their products will be better guaranteed.
