Functional membrane laminated fabric for outdoor garments

Bond a thermoplastic polyurethane membrane (TPU film ) to one layer of more layers of base fabrics, such as nylon or polyester fabric, to get a new kind of functional materials with a wide range of high performances, which is suitable for making sofas, garments and other textiles etc, and becomes one of the indispensable fabrics for people's home life.

These are two kinds of laminated fabric with different layers, one is double layered laminated fabric, one is three layers laminated fabric.

The double-layer laminated fabric is made by bonding the outer layer fabric with TPU or PTFE film. It is soft to the touch, wear-resistant, tear resistant, it has excellent waterproof, breathable, and windproof effects.

When using double-layer laminated fabric for garment, it is necessary to add one layer of lining or match it with a fleece insulation layer for outerwear use.

The three-layer laminated fabric contains of an outer layer of fabric, one layer of functional film such as TPU film or TPEE film or PTFE film, and also an inner layer. This laminated fabric is light weight, tear resistant, wear-resistant, with excellent waterproof and windproof effects, better breathability.

TPU film laminated fabrics apply for the high-tech and new materials of "new synthetic fibers", which have many excellent properties (compared to ordinary synthetic fibers). For example, the fabric performs fine, delicate, elegant, and warm, and the appearance of the fabric is windproof, breathable, waterproof, good warmth preservation and breathability, good wear resistance, ultra-fine fiber fabrics have a soft, breathable, and moisture permeable feel, so they have obvious advantages in terms of tactile and physiological comfort. Ultrafine fiber fabrics have poor wrinkle resistance (this is because the fibers are soft and the elastic recovery after wrinkling is poor); In order to overcome this disadvantage, a "composite" process was adopted, which greatly improved the poor wrinkle resistance of ultrafine fiber fabrics.

Laminated fabrics are divided into ordinary composite fabrics (which are made by bonding the fabric and lining with adhesives to improve the texture of the fabric and are suitable for simplifying the process and large-scale production of garment processing) and functional laminated fabrics (which have special functions such as waterproof, moisture permeability, radiation resistance, washing resistance, and wear resistance).

Regarding the processing, there are six popular composite processes, namely thermosol powder coating composite process, hot melt adhesive point composite process, thermosol powder spreading composite process, thermosol double point composite process, polyurethane spray composite process, and polyurethane roller coating composite process, are a relatively new type of fabric developed by the market. In short, it is a fabric composed of two types of fabrics. Previously, a common composite was the combination of suede fabric and wool, but now it can be combined with any fabric.
